Sri Radha Krupa Kataksha Stotram

Sri Radha Krupa Kataksha
Sri Radha Devi

Sri Radha Krupa Kataksha means the blessings of Sri Radha, the consort of Sri Krishna by way of Her sideway glance on Her devotees. Sri Radha is the incarnation of Sri Maha Lakshmi in Sri Krishna Avatar of Sri Maha Vishnu.

Sri Radha Krupa Kataksha Stotram is believed to be the conversation between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi about the divinity of the effects of the glances of Sri Radha. This Stotram is said to be mentioned in Urdhvamanya Tantra as an appeal to Sri Radha Rani for her sideways glance.

Sri Radha Krupa Kataksha Stotram is popularly chanted in all the temples at Vrindavan and the nearby villages. It is also named as Sri Radha Krupa Kataksha Stava Raaja / Sri Radhika Krupa Kataksha Stava Rajaa.

The Stotram / Slokam contains nineteen stanzas. Stanzas 1 to 11 contain pleas and prayers to Sri Radha Maa for bestowing Her sideway glance on the devotee. Stanza 12 describes Her attributes. Paras 13 to 19 contain the description of benefits of reading / reciting this Slokam.

The Devanagari & the English scripts and a simple English translation are provided in this narrative.
