Sri Bhavani Ashtakam is the Slokam in praise of and as prayer to Sri Bhavani Devi, one of the manifestations of Sri Durga Devi.
Sri Bhavani Ashtakam was composed by Sri Adi Sankaracharya.
Sri Bhavani Ashtakam contains eight stanzas each describing the attributes of Sri Bhavani Devi. Each of the stanzas dwell on the protection and refuge sought from Sri Bhavani Devi.
Sri Bhavani Ashtakam is presented in Devanagari and English scripts with a simple English translation.
न तातो न माता न बन्धुर्न दाता
न पुत्रो न पुत्री न भृत्यो न भर्ता
न जाया न विद्या न वृत्तिर्ममैव

I know very little about the Lord of creation (Sri Brahma), Lord of protection (Sri Vishnu, consort of Ramaa), Lord of everyone (Sri Shiva), the Lord of Devas (Indra), the Lord of the day (Surya), the Lord of the night (Chandra), the other Gods and the other Goddesses. I always take refuge in you.
