Sri Kamala Stotram is the Slokam in praise of and as prayer to Sri Para Shakthi, who has various manifestations. In this Slokam, the attributes of Sri Shakthi as Sri Mahalakshmi are narrated.
Sri Kamala Stotram is believed to be part of Sri Vishnu Puranam and it is set as the conversation between Lord Shiva and Sri Parvathi Devi.

ओंकार रूपिणी देवि विशुद्ध सत्त्व रूपिणी
देवानां जननी त्वं हि प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (1)
Omkaara roopiNee dhaevi vishudhDha saththva roopinee

Sri Kamala Devi is the personified form of the holy syllable “Om”; She is purity personified; She is the mother of the Devas; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
तन्मात्रं चैव भूतानि तव वक्षस्थलं स्मृतम्
त्वमेव वेद गम्या तु प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (2)

लोकातीता द्वैतातीता समस्त भूत वेष्टिता
विद्वज्जन कीर्त्तिता च प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (4)
loakaatheethaa dhvaithaa-theethaa samastha bhootha veshtithaa
vidhva-jjana keerththithaa cha prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is above and beyond all the worlds, all the beings and all the Gods; She is praised and prayed by the learned scholars; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
परिपूर्णा सदा लक्ष्मि त्रात्री तु शरणार्थिषु
विश्वाद्या विश्वकत्रीं च प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (5)

ब्रह्मरूपा च सावित्री त्वद्दीप्त्या भासते जगत्
विश्वरूपा वरेण्या च प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (6)

Sri Kamala Devi is in the form of Brahmam; She is the ray of light; She blesses the Sun and the universe shines because of Her; She is in the form of universe; She is the chosen ultimate Goddess; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
क्षित्य प्तेजो मरूद्धयोम पंच भूत स्वरूपिणी
बन्धादेः कारणं त्वं हि प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (7)
kShithya saejoa maroodh-vyoama pancha bhootha svaroopiNee
banDhaadhaeh kaaraNaM thvaM hi prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is in the form of five elements such as earth, water, fire, wind and the sky; She is the core and substances of these five elements; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
महेशे त्वं हेमवती कमला केशवेऽपि च
ब्रह्मणः प्रेयसी त्वं हि प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (8)

चंडी दुर्गा कालिका च कौशिकी सिद्धिरूपिणी
योगिनी योगगम्या च प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (9)

yoaginee yoaga-gamyaa cha prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi had diminished Chanda; She is Sri Durga; She is dark; She is the unifier; She possess all yogic attributes; She is the Goddess of yoga; She is sought after by the yogis and sages; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
बाल्ये च बालिका त्वं हि यौवने युवतीति च
स्थविरे वृद्धरूपा च प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (10)

गुणमयी गुणातीता आद्या विद्या सनातनी
महत्तत्त्वादि संयुक्ता प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (11)

Sri Kamala Devi has excellent characteristics; She is beyond excellent attributes; She is the fountain head of knowledge and wisdom; She is traditional and ancient; She is great; She is in the personified form of great principles; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
तपस्विनी तपः सिद्धि स्वर्ग सिद्धिस्तदर्थिषु
चिन्मयी प्रकृतिस्त्वं तु प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (12)

Sri Kamala Devi does penance; She is the core and effect of penance; She blesses the heavens, yogic attributes and wealth; She is of divine pure thought; She is the personified form of nature; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
त्वमादिर्जगतां देवि त्वमेव स्थितिकारणम्
त्वमन्ते निधनस्थानं स्वेच्छा चारा त्वमेवहि (13)

thvam-anthae niDhanasThaanaM svaechChaa chaaraa thvamaeva hi
Sri Kamala Devi is the origin of the universe; She is the root cause for its existence; She is the conclusion of the universe; She is the core of its destruction; She moves around as She wishes.
चराचराणां भूतानां बहिरन्तस्त्वमेव हि
व्याप्यव्याक रूपेण त्वं भासि भक्त वत्सले (14)
charaacharaaNaaM bhoothaanaaM bahir-anthas-thvamaeva
vyapya-avyaaka roopaeNa thvaM bhaasi bhaktha vathsalae
Sri Kamala Devi is in the core and the outer substance of all the moving and not moving beings; She is omni-present; She has distinct form; She dazzles; She is the Goddess loving Her ardent devotees.
त्वन्मायया हृतज्ञाना नष्टात्मानो विचेतसः
गतागतं प्रपद्यन्ते पाप पुण्य वशात्सदा (15)
thvan-maayayaa hrutha-jnaanaa nashta-athmaanoa vichaethasah
gathaagathaM prapadhyanthae paapa puNya vasha-athsadhaa
The beings in the universe are afflicted with ignorance and unconsciousness due to the illusion; They keep wandering due to the effects of their pious and sinful deeds.
तावन्सत्यं जगद्भाति शुक्तिका रजतं यथा
यावन्न ज्ञायते ज्ञानं चेतसा नान्वगामिनी (16)
thaavan- sathyaM jagadh-bhaathi shukthikaa rajathaM yaThaa
yaavanna jnaayathae jnaanaM chaethasaa naanva-gaaminee
Sincerely meditating on the form of Sri Kamala Devi makes us realize the wisdom that the worldly life which appears to be true and dazzling is a mere hallucination without devotion.
त्वज्ज्ञानात्तु सदा युक्तः पुत्र दार गृहादिषु
रमन्ते विषयान्सर्वानन्ते दुख प्रदान् ध्रुवम् (17)
thvajjna-anaaththu sadhaa yukthah puthra dhaara gruha-adhiShu
ramanthae viShayaan-sarva-ananthae dhukha pradhaana Dhruvam
The person who meditates sincerely on Sri Kamala Devi realizes that the enjoyment of life through spouse and progeny shall only end up in sadness without ardent devotion.
त्वदाज्ञया तु देवेशि गगने सूर्य मण्डलम्
चन्द्रश्च भ्रमते नित्यं प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (18)
thvadha-ajnayaa thu dhaevaeshi gaganae soorya maNdalam
chandhrashcha bramathae nithyaM prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the empress of the Devas; The Sun, Moon and the other planets move around in the solar galaxy as ordained by Her; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
ब्रह्मेशविष्णु जननी ब्रह्माख्या ब्रह्मसंश्रया
व्यक्ताव्यक्त च देवेशि प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (19)
brahmesha-viShNu jananee brahmaakhyaa brahma-saMshrayaa
vyaktha-avyaktha cha dhaevaeshi prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the supreme mother of Sri Brahma and Sri Vishnu; She makes Sri Brahma to do His activities; She is the empress of Devas; She is clearly understandable as well as mystic; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
अचला सर्वगा त्वं हि मायातीता महेश्वरि
शिवात्मा शाश्वता नित्या प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (20)
achalaa sarvagaa thvaM hi maayaatheethaa mahaeshvari
shivaathmaa shaashvathaa nithyaa prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is constant; She exists everywhere; She is beyond illusion; She is the greatest Goddess; She is soul of Lord Shiva; She is definite; She is eternal; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
सर्व काय नियन्त्री च सर्व भूतेश्वरी
अनन्ता निष्काला त्वं हि प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (21)
sarva kaaya niyanthree cha sarva bhootha-eshvaree
ananthaa niShkaalaa thvaM hi prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the controller of all beings; She is the Goddess for all the beings; She is eternal; She is without blemish; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
सर्वेश्वरी सर्ववद्या अचिन्त्या परमात्मिका
भुक्ति मुक्तिप्रदा त्वं हि प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (22)
sarveshvaree sarva-vandhyaa achinthyaa parama-athmikaa
bhukthi mukthi pradhaa thvaM hi prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is omni-present; She is the Goddess of all; She is worshipped by all; She is beyond mind and thought; She is the divine soul; She grants prosperity and moksha; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
ब्रह्माणी ब्रह्मलोके त्वं वैकुण्ठे सर्वमंगला
इंद्राणी अमरावत्यामम्बिका वरूणालये (23)
braahmaNee brahma-loakae thvaM vaikuNTae sarva-mangalaa
indhraaNee amaraavathaam-ambika varuNaalayae
Sri Kamala Devi is Brahmani in the Sathyalok of Sri Brahma; She is the auspicious Sri Lakshmi at the Vaikunt; At Amaravathi, She is Indrani; At the lok of Varuna, She is Ambika.
यमालये कालरूपा कुबेरभवने शुभा
महानन्दाग्निकोणे च प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (24)
yamaalayae kaala-roopaa kubera-bhavanae shubhaa
mahaa-nandha-agnikoaNae cha prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the Goddess of time at the abode of Dharma Raja; She is Shubhaa, the Deity of auspiciousness at the place of Kubera; She is Maha Nanda at the place of Agni; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
नैरृत्यां रक्तदन्ता त्वं वायव्यां मृगवाहिनी
पाताले वैष्णवीरूपा प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (25)
nairuthyaaM raktha-dhanthaa thvaM vaayavyaaM mruga-vaahinee
paathaalae vaiShNavee-roopa prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the red toothed Deity in the South-West; She rides on deer in the North-West; She is Vaishnavi at the paathal lok; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
सुरसा त्वं मणिद्वीपे ऐशान्यां शूलधारिणी
भद्रकाली च लंकायां प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (26)
surasaa thvaM maNi-dhveepae eshaanyaaM shola-Dhaarinee
bhadrakaalee cha lankaayaaM prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is Surasa in the island made of precious gems; In the North-East, She holds the trident; In Lanka, She is Bhadra-Kali; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
रामेश्वरी सेतुबन्धे सिंहले देवमोहिनी
विमला त्वं च श्रीक्षेत्रे प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (27)
raameshvaree saethu-banDhae sinhalae dhaeva-moahinee
vimalaa thvaM cha shreekShaethrae prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the Goddess of Lord Sri Ram at the sea-bridge enroute Lanka; At Lanka, She is the Goddess enticing Devas; She is Vimala at the land of prosperity; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
कालिका त्वं कालिघाटे कामाख्या नीलपर्वत
विरजा ओड्रदेशे त्वं प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (28)
kaalikaa thvaM kaalighatae kamaakhya neela parvathae
virajaa oudra-dhaeshae thvaM prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is Sri Kalika at Kalighat; She is Sri Kamakya at blue mountains; She is Sri Viraja in Oudra-Desh; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
वाराणस्यामन्नपूर्णा अयोध्यायां महेश्वरी
गयासुरी गयाधाम्नि प्रसन्ना भव सुंदरि (29)
vaaraNasyaam-annapoorNaa ayoaDhyaayaaM mahaeshvaree
gayaasuree gayaa-Dhaamni prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is Sri Annapuri at Varanasi; She is Sri Maheswari at Ayodhya; She is taking rest as Sri Gayasuri at Gaya; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
भद्रकाली कुरूक्षेत्रे त्वंच कात्यायनी व्रजे
महामाया द्वारकायां प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (30)
bhadhrakaalee kurukShethrae thvaMcha kaathyaayanee vrajae
mahaamaayaa dhvaarakaayaaM prasanna bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is Sri Bhadrakali at Kurukshetra; At Vraja Desh, She is Sri Kathyayani; She is Sri Maha Maya at Dwaraka; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
क्षुधा त्वं सर्वजीवानां वेला च सागरस्य हि
महेश्वरी मथुरायां च प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (31)
kShuDhaa thvaM sarva-jeevaanaaM vaela cha saagarasya hi
maheshvaree maThuraayaaM cha prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the intense hunger in all beings; She is the waves in the ocean; She is the greatest Goddess in Mathura; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
रामस्य जानकी त्वं च शिवस्य मनमोहिनी
दक्षस्य दुहिता चैव प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (32)
raamasya jaanakee thvaM cha shivasya mana-mohinee
dhakShasya dhuhithaa chaiva prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is Sri Sita Devi of Lord Sri Ram. She is the beloved of Lord Shiva; She is the daughter of Daksha; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
विष्णुभक्तिप्रदां त्वं च कंसासुर विनाशिनी
रावणनाशिनां चैव प्रसन्ना भव सुन्दरि (33)
viShNu-bhakthi-pradhaaM thvaM cha kaMsasura vinaashinee
raavaNa naashinaam chaiva prasannaa bhava sundhari
Sri Kamala Devi is the source and root of devotion to Sri Maha Vishnu; She is instrumental in destroying the demon Kamsa; She is the cause for diminishing Ravana; May the beautiful Goddess be pleased and shower Her blessings.
लक्ष्मीस्तोत्रमिदं पुण्यं यः पठेद्भक्सिंयुतः
सर्वज्वरभयं नश्येत्सर्वव्याधि निवारणम् (34)
lakShmee-sthothram-idhaM puNyaM yah paTedh-bhakthi-saMyuthah
sarva-jvara-bhayaM nasyeth- sarva-vyaaDhi nivaaraNam
The sincere and devout reading and reciting of this Lakshmi Stotram shall result in alleviation of all types of fever and cure of all the diseases.
इदं स्तोत्रं महापुण्यमापदुद्धार कारणम्
त्रिसंध्यमेक सन्ध्यं वा यः पठेत्सततं नरः (35)
idhaM sthothraM mahaa-puNyam-aapadh-udhDhaara kaaraNam
trisanDhyamaeka sanDhyaM vaa yah paTeth-sathathaM narah
मुच्यते सर्वपापेभ्यो तथा तु सर्वसंकटात्
मुच्यते नात्र सन्देहो भुवि स्वर्गे रसातले (36)
muchyathae sarva-paapebhyoa thaThaa thu sarva-sankataath
muchyathae naathra sandhaehoa bhuvi svarga rasaathalae
This Slokam on Sri Kamala Devi is greatly auspicious; The sincere recitation of this Slokam protects the devotees from the dangers; Devout reading and reciting of this Slokam at dawn, noon or dusk shall result in alleviation of all sins and sorrows; The said devotee shall be doubtlessly protected either in pathal lok or earth or heaven.
समस्तं च तथा चैकं यः पठेद्भक्तित्परः
स सर्वदुष्करं तीर्त्वा लभते परमां गतिम् (37)
samasthaM cha thaTha chaikaM yah paTedh-bhakthi-thathparah
sa sarva-dhuShkaraM theerthvaa labhathae paramaaM gathim
The person who devoutly reads and recites this Sri Kamala Stotram either in full or atleast one stanza shall get all the difficulties and worries alleviated.
सुखदं मोक्षदं स्तोत्रं यः पठेद्भक्ति संयुक्तः
स तु कोटी तीर्थफलं प्राप्नोति नात्र संशयः (38)
sukhadhaM moakShadhaM sthothraM yah paTedh-bhakthi saMyukthah
sa thu koatee theerTha-phalaM praapnoathi naathra saMsayah
The person who devoutly reads and recites this Sri Kamala Stotram shall be blessed with salvation and shall be bestowed with the virtuous benefits equal to taking holy dip in a crore of sacred water bodies.
एका देवी तु कमला यस्मिं स्तुष्टा भवेत्सदा
तस्याऽसाध्यं तु देवेशि नास्ति किंचिज्जगत् त्रये (39)
ekaa dhaevee thu kamalaa yasmin santhuShtaa bhaveth-sadhaa
thasy(A) saaDhyaM thu dhaevaeshi naasthi kinchij-jagath thrayae
The person bestowed with the blessings of Sri Kamala Devi shall not find any task or duty or event as impossible in the universe.
पठनादपि स्तोत्रस्य किं न सिद्धयति भूतले
तस्मात्स्तोत्रवरं प्रोक्तं सत्यं हि पार्वति (40)
paTanaadhapi sthothrasya kiM na sidhDhyathi bhoothalae
thasmaath-sthothra varaM prokthaM sathyaM hi paarvathi
Hey Parvathi Devi, to the person who sincerely reads and recites this great prayer of Sri Kamala Stotram, nothing is impossible in this universe; This is the eternal truth.
