Sri Ganesha Pancharathnam is the slokam in praise of and in prayer to Bhagwan Sri Ganesha. This slokam contains five stanzas each describing the attributes of Bhagwan Ganapathi.
Sri Ganesha Pancharathnam was composed by Sri Adi Sankaracharya. The benefits of chanting this slokam is given at the end as Phalasruthi.

मुदा करात्त मोदकं सदा विमुक्ति साधकं
कला धरा वतंसकं विलासि लोक रक्षकम्
अनाय कैक नायकं विनाशि तेभदैत्यकं
नताशु भाशु नाशकं नमामि तं विनायकम् (1)

Bhagwan Sri Ganesha, You
-hold modakas (sweet dish made of rice flour and jaggery) very gleefully in Your hands;
-bestow mukthi / salvation to Your ardent devotees;
-wear crescent moon as an ornament;
-provide protection to the universe;
-help and guide the destitute / poor people as our Bhagwan;
-destroy the demons and the foes of Your devotees; and
-eliminate inauspiciousness in our lives.

-create fear in the minds of the dishonest;
-shine crimson like the rising sun;
-destroy the enemies of Your ardent devotees;
-protect and uplift Your devotees from their miseries;
-are the Lord of the Devas; the Bhagwan of the wealth; Lord of the celestial warriors;
-are the elephant faced God;
-are the great God; and
-eternally bless and protect Your devotees.

-bestow us success, happiness, eminence and nobility.

-annihilate the sufferings of the needy and the poor;
-are praised and prayed in all the venerated holy scripts;
-are the elder son of Bhagwan Shiva;
-remove the unwanted pride and negative thoughts of those who worship you;
-dissolve the illusions of the universe;
-adorn snake dhanjaya as an ornament; and
-are fierce as the elephant with flowing fluids in its cheeks.

अचिन्त्य रूप मन्त हीन मन्त राय कृन्तनम्

-dazzle with your single glittering (broken) tusk;
-are attractive;
-are the son of God who had fallen Yama;
-are of the form which cannot be confined to any imagination;
-are eternal, absolute and infinite;
-tear away the obstacles; and
-remain in the hearts of the yogis forever;

Those who read and recite this Sri Maha Ganesha Pancha Ratnam every morning with ardent devotion and those who keep Sri Ganesha in their hearts, shall be bestowed with good health, life without any blemish, wisdom, good progeny, longevity and complete life with all eight modes of wealth.
